"Room was clean and everything worked. Hotel is old and has a smell to it. Other than that it was a nice safe place to stay."

"Excellent evening staff checking us in and excellent server handling both the bar and the dinner tables. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was very good. Again, the staff were all very good and attentive and helpful. The only thing that I would have liked was to have screens on the windows which would have allowed us to leave the windows open at night to cool down the room. There is no A/C but we were provided fans, which was a life saver. But we really were still too hot overnight. We don't like to open windows without screens as bugs/mosquitoes could get in. A/C would be nice too, but I know that that is very expensive to add. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would return in the future."

"We enjoyed the Oasis area in the evening and morning breakfast time. We found an outdoor store with lots of fun things to buy across the street. It was a bit noisy from the traffic on 101, but that is to be expected with as many lanes that are there and the speed limit. Also, it was just a short drive to the old part of town and the boardwalk where there were art galleries and many murals."
