Very spacious and clean room. Its about ~12 miles from Big Oaks Flat Entrance which is great as you still need to travel about 20 miles to get to most popular parts of forest.

Everything from check-in (with our room ready for us) to check-out was excellent. The staff is hugely helpful, especially for first-time visitors to Yosemite. The restaurant (and adjacent tavern) made it easy to take almost all our meals there. We did not have enough time to discover the park and enjoy all the amenities, but we left there already planning to return.

Food and food service was great. Vallet had some shortcomings. Bed sheets are rough, water pressure not great from shower head and restroom could have been cleaner. Food def. Made up for the rest.
