"The Inn of the Governors was the perfect destination for group travel. We had a block of 5 rooms and enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is convenient and walkable distance from the train depot and Plaza. It was close to restaurants, shopping, museums and main attractions. Loved the charming Southwest decor in the rooms and the value this hotel provided with the free parking, Sherry sampling with bisconchitos cookies in the afternoons and included made to order breakfast! The breakfast tacos were to die for! There is a cute pool area that was great for lounging and the El Charro restaurant that is attached to the hotel is open late, which is nice in a town that closes early. Staff was accomodating and helpful. Check out the cool Art O Matic vending machine in the lobby for cute souvenirs. This will be my go to place to stay in Santa Fe!"

"Had a good experience. There are no elevators and that could be tough for some, but if your ok with potentially having to go upstairs the room was very nice. Slightly expensive with fees and taxes but the free breakfast is better than most hotels. Easy to walk to many restaurants. If you need ice or a plunger go by the front desk. There was a mini fridge, which was good for meds and snacks as well as a microwave. The bathroom had a heated floor near the sink and the shower has a rain shower head overhead in addition to the standard head that can be held. My wife said she wouldn't mind coming back for more than one night, but maybe without the kids and dogs. "
