Avoid this hotel — car break-ins ignored, no accountability I stayed at this hotel and my car window was smashed and my belongings stolen, along with 30-40 other guests’ vehicles in the same incident. This happened overnight, and even cars parked right in front of the entrance — including mine — were not spared. What’s most disturbing is that this was NOT an isolated incident. Talking to police and other affected guests the next morning, I learned the same thing had already happened the Wednesday before I arrived. The hotel knew about a prior break-in spree in their own parking lot and said absolutely nothing to guests. No warning, no extra security, nothing. They let dozens more cars get hit because they couldn’t be bothered to tell people their parking lot wasn’t safe. When I asked staff directly if they would take any responsibility, I was told they would “talk to the police” — as if that undoes the damage or explains why they hid a known, repeated security problem from paying guests. No compensation, no discount, not even a basic gesture of goodwill was offered to any of the affected guests I spoke with. It’s clear customer experience and guest safety are not priorities here. If you value your vehicle and your belongings, park elsewhere or stay elsewhere. I would not trust this property to protect your property or to be honest with you if something goes wrong

We loved the friendly staff and the beautiful building. They have a historic bar and lovely patio which are both wonderful places to soak up the atmosphere.

The staff were amazing. The check in process was seamless and quick, she was super friendly and the rooms were clean. Also we loved the fitness centre it was fantastic!

The room was very spacious, really well laid out with great storage, lobby had a great vibe and pool table. Everything we needed in a convenient location downtown.

Close meaning in the heart of the U of MN and surrounded by the stadiums. with access to the light rail and bus directly in front of the hotel.
