"We had a great overnight stay while passing through. The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable—exactly what our family needed after a long day of traveling. It’s not a luxury property, but it was well maintained, had everything we needed, and provided a good night’s sleep. Every employee we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. We’d definitely stay here again the next time we’re passing through the area."

"The Crows Nest is a wonderful home to stay in! The view from the kitchen/dining/sitting room is stunning - unobstructed harbor, mountain and sea. The kitchen is simple but well appointed, clean and fresh. Maybe I missed it in the description, but was excited to see the jacuzzi on the porch - we used it every afternoon/evening. It is only a minute or two stroll to either the beach or the harbor cove or to the start of the walking trail that circles the peninsula. There are plenty of areas to sit both inside and outside. This house is good for a family, rather than two couples as the 2nd sleeping area is accessed either through the bedroom or going around outside and then through the front door. I would suggest replacing the sofa bed with a real bed. It looks nice in the pictures, but is even better in person!"

"Very friendly and helpful staff at reception, rooms look newly refurbished and are very comfy! Loved the Starbucks pods in the rooms. Breakfast was a good range and great to have a selection of fresh fruit too. Didn’t use pool area but it looked well maintained and relaxing. Easy stroll into the old town with plenty of restaurants to choose from! Would definitely recommend and stay there again!"

"Alder Cottage was lovely! It is continently located near the charming town of Trinidad with easy access to the national and state parks. We really enjoyed our stay. It was the highlight of our CA road trip."

"We loved our stay! Beautiful location with walkable places to eat and a grocery store nearby. We loved the layout of the house that offered lots of space and places to relax inside and outside. The path to the beach is fun! It would be difficult for someone with joint issues (but my 81 year old dad managed!) Once you are at the beach it’s a gorgeous location. Very secluded and full of rocks and of course there are seals! I would stay there again and hope to someday soon."
