Overall wasn’t disappointed great place rooms are big could use bigger tvs over then that it was great

The Camby has the potential to be a 5 rated hotel for all the right reasons, incl. particularly the staff's communications and efficient, super helpful, professional and caring service, + design, especially in updated spaces, convenience, etc. Standard amenities (hair dryer, personal toiletries, slip free bath mats, and especially small microwave + Nespresso mini) are inexpensive and would be helpful. Though reported daily, our first night (of four), a few smaller but inefficient glitches were just never remedied, despite front desk staff requests on our behalf: leaving us w/no working room phone with easy access to calling for room service, the front desk, or housekeeping directly, for example. Despite requests, revoltingly malodorous, unwashed, unfortunately needed hypoallergenic pillows were replaced but the problem persisted since the pillows were never washed. Even reception staff recommended they could easily (minimally) be covered in liners. (We asked others there too if we were hypersensitive, and everyone agreed that wasn't the case.) And last, the food is inventive and has great possibilities for entertaining and hanging in chill, well done public spaces, but it's heavy and was often served lukewarm or undercooked. Coffee shop closes at 3, too early for a late afternoon pickmeup. Complementary cocktails and snacks-lovely. The pool space is well done and so is the gym. Valet, bell service too-impeccable. Our party of 10 really would return with these improvements.

The first night that we checked in the two young women at the front desk to check the sand same bothered that I interrupted their conversation by checking in horrible customer service skills the second night I had to go to the customer service desk to ask about how to get more coffee cups, and towel towels. The lady that was working the desk told me to go upstairs find my room number and come back down and tell her the room number before she can do anything she was standing right in front of the computer rude I asked her to look in a computer. She just looked at me. I reached hotel management that same night and explained to them what happened and I don’t know what the response was because no one has contacted me. These women have no customer service skills are very rude or maybe it’s just they were rude to me. I didn’t like it because I’m a paying customer. I wasn’t a bother at the hotel at All or wasn’t mean a route to anyone all I did was ask a question and check in, but I won’t go back here not to stay or gamble and I really don’t recommend it to anyone else.
