"Very friendly and helpful staff, and they spoke English very well. The room was for 3: it was very spacious, had a mini fridge, and the third person had their own room with a skylight. The hotel was right near the Rhine River, which was lovely to walk at sunset. The area had many restaurants and shopping to choose from. I enjoyed this hotel experience."

"I recently stayed at the Ahl Marketzeen Hotel, and it is truly a mixed bag. ​The Best Part: The location is unbeatable. It is right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly easy to walk to most major attractions and local shops. If being central is your top priority, this is a solid choice. ​The Downside: The building itself is quite old and feels outdated. You can tell it hasn't been renovated in a while—the decor is a bit tired, and the facilities are showing significant signs of wear...

"Parking was easy with plenty of space. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was ok. Room was standard holiday inn express, perfectly acceptable. "

"Really convenient location- we were obviously close enough to airport for easy reach, but also train into centre from here for Christmas markets was super easy. Lovely staff and great barman got us far too merry! "

Linoleum floor, broken TV, no hot water in the shower, half the hotel a construction site, distracted and overworked staff, nowhere to buy breakfast before 8 a.m. (and no information about where to do so). It felt like a youth hostel, but for $150 a night, one expects more."

"Very unclean and worn building. Half of it was a building site so works began early in the morning. The basement room had a window that you could hear people moving about all night. The shower and bathroom were so bad we really refrained from using it at all. A taxi driver informed us that there are women who offer extra services in this hostel. AVOID THIS HOSTEL. Wasn’t even cheap compared to other accommodation we were just desperate for somewhere to sleep. "
