An hour before arriving we received a message to say the main bathroom toilet was blocked and they weren’t going to fix it before our stay, meaning the only toilets available were inside the 2 en-suite bathrooms. After arriving we found the house in what seemed to be mid construction. The kitchen was still covered in protective plastic, with cupboards without handles and a complete lack of cutlery, glasses and plates....

"The property was great, very spacious with plenty of room for our extended family, 7 people total. Everything was well taken care of. The kitchen was very well stocked, and communication was great. Great option with teens

"Chose this hotel as we are travelling as a family with my teen and their friend. Wanted a separate space for them without it being a second room booking. Stayed in the Dainton suite and it was just what we needed. Two bedrooms with their own shower and a shared bathroom. Cost was comparable to the price of a standard family room in other city hotels. Fantastic stay

"Excellent stay; the room was a decent size and was quite peaceful, despite the fact that it overlooked the square below and that there was live music playing, which we enjoyed listening to in the square but we could hardly hear it from our room. The staff were courteous and respectful, and the hotel was clean and welcoming."

Best Breakfast and Service

"We had a really good stay at this hotel, the breakfast was one of the best we've had, the best selection and very tasty. The evening meal was also beautiful, can't fault any of the food. Family room was large and huge bed, but disappointed in the lack of air conditioning and the shower quality. It was a bit disappointing hearing one of the waitresses at the breakfast entrance talk to the younger staff in a very rude manner. Bit of a chip on her shoulder as all the staff who we seen cleared the plates quickly and refreshed all the food in good time. Probably the best service I've seen at breakfast. Only other small gripe was the child's pool times, extremely restricted, so please check this if your going with children and have a busy schedule. We would certainly return to the hotel."
