Not what we expected at all. We knew full well we were coming on a busy weekend but we didn't expect staffing to be 1 guy running the whole place alone - do better and give that young man a raise cause he did a great job being left to do all that work on his own!
The room was pretty gross. Carpets were dirty and room #120 had a patch of carpet just glued together and was black all around it we didn't even want to walk around without shoes. We informed the staff before coming that we had an infant and then we come into a room we couldn't even put her on the floor to crawl around on because it was so gross. If other hotels weren't booked up we would've walked out and asked for our money back. We had 4 lightbulbs burnt out in our room and 1 that flickered half the time.
The walls are paper thin in this place. We listened to everyone until 1am above us and it kept us all awake as if they were in the same room. Stomping and just being loud and it was really hard to get any rest and for our kids.
Breakfast was horrendous. Food kept running out and the kitchen couldn't keep up so 5 people would fill their plate then there was no food again for 20 min. Plates ran out, silverware ran out, there was nowhere to sit... It was a gong show. Clearly this hotel was not prepared for a busy weekend and it showed. The vending machines were sold out of drinks and eating money so multiple people just went to the store across the street.
Really just not a comfortable stay. Beds uncomfy too
