Top Dublin Southside Hotel Reviews

Iveagh Garden Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great"

Talbot Hotel Stillorgan
10/10 Excellent
"All Staff are Extremely kind and Helpful. Apart from a minority, the majority are nice and smiling. Rooms were clean and the cleaning staff were very kind and responsive. The restaurant was excellent. Some chefs(the ones who distribute food) looked very angry and somehow irritated appetite! Generally, the place was peaceful and beautiful. By the way, lack of fridge was very unusual! However, when I have requested, the beautiful receptionist made it happen right away."

Travelodge PLUS Dublin City Centre
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, everything was easily walkable. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Would definitely stay here again."

The Chancery Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is exceptional. It is super clean and updated, think luxury. The Wellness Center gives you a hot tub, steam room, sauna with a calming fountain and relaxing chairs. The restaurant and bar offer yummy food and drink. On top of a luxurious and comfortable hotel, the staff is some of the nicest folks you’ll meet."

The Mercantile Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Nicely updated room & bath and comfortable bed, but room very small (like a NYC hotel room). Beautiful hotel and wonderful breakfast. Central location was easy walk to so many sites in Dublin. Staff, including concierge, was really friendly and helpful."

Temple Bar Hotel Dublin by The Unlimited Collection
10/10 Excellent
"Staff went above and beyond when I needed some help. Rooms on the small side and there is a bar downstairs that plays loud music. But I was able to sleep. Great location in the heart of Dublin"

Marlin Hotel Stephens Green
10/10 Excellent
"Super cute and centrally located for easy public transportation. Clean room, nice staff!"

Staycity Aparthotels, Dublin, Mark Street
8/10 Good
"We really weren't sure what to expect but quickly sorted ourselves out. The highlights: excellent staff who were always willing to provide good service, answer questions, make a drink, give directions, etc. We returned from the theatre around 11pm having missed dinner. We were delighted that we could still get hot food and drinks and the food was fresh and good quality. Hotel was in a good location for activities on both the north and south side of the River although a little off the main area. Be prepared to walk a lot (which you should be prepared to do in Dublin anyway!). There's a train that ran right outside our windows and we heard very little noise from it and it did not impact our good night sleep. Lowlights: the standard room was very small and the upgrade option felt too expensive. Corridors are dark and we had a terrible view out the window (in hindsight, we should have asked for a room change). No room for 2 people with suitcases: we used the table for one and the luggage stand for the other; again, we probably should have asked for another luggsge rack. Bathroom was very small but good shower. No faceclothes. As is likely for most visitors, we spent very little time in the room for our 3 night stay so it was all fine and the highlights outweighed the lowlights for the most part."

The Grafton Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Only odd thing was that there were no drawers or shelves and very limited hanger space. We lived out of our suitcases for four days. Otherwise great hotel in a GREAT location. Front desk, Olga, was there every time we passed until 5:45 am checkout Tuesday. Highly recommend!"
