Pros: The location is close to lots of well known pubs and restaurants. I felt the area was great and walkable, located on an idyllic cobblestone street. Cute! Secondly, the staff were very helpful: our room was ready before normal check in time, they brought our luggage to our room for us, quickly helped us when key cards didn’t work, and overall we’re friendly. Thank you to the staff!
Cons: the amenities were lacking. It’s 2022, and it wasn’t a cheap hotel to book, so I was surprised to see there was no mini fridge (granted, if I checked the Info page im sure I would’ve seen this prior- I just didn’t check because it’s so common nowadays to have one). No outlets near the beds, only 2 outlets for the whole place on the opposite wall. The shower stall was SO SMALL it was laughable and could only be entered sideways, and when turning around we would often change the temperature on accident. Getting to our room was quite annoying as well, we had to go up the elevator, walk a little, go down a half flight of stairs, walk a bit more, go down a a few more stairs, walk a bit more and (believe it or not) go down 3 tiny steps and through a door, and then there was our room. There is no air con (quite normal for many areas of Europe- not complaining) so we needed to keep the windows open for some fresh air. Our room was situated overlooking an alley way and we heard people talking, fighting, till all hours of the night so this wasn’t ideal.
Overall, great location, not amazed.
