Amazing apartment in a safe and quiet local area. We stayed here to visit Debrovnik. Just 10 minutes drive away. A 5 minute walk to shopping center, grocery and beach. The host is amazing. She is very nice and accomadating. We are coming back next year and booked with her for our next visit.

Small and nice apartment. Recently renovated rooms, room and bathroom big enough for 1-2 person's. Balcony also nice. Friendly hosts and a neighbor laundry owner provide transportation to the airport or old town with reasonable price. Good location close to beach and by bus only 10-15 minutes to old town, price 2,90€.

The location was definitely good. Close to the beach and a nice shopping center. Great water pressure. Doesnt have much in the kitchen, just the basics. Towels and bedding were very rough, the towels felt like sand paper. AC was good but only in the bedroom. We didn’t have any problems. But didnt get much help as far as suggestions on where to eat or best places to visit.

Clean and nice

Nice and service-minded hosts. They answer the phone quickly and are extremely helpful. The room was clean and in order. Please note that there is no shower gel or shampoo. Restaurants, some small shops and a shopping mall in the vicinity. It is about 5-minutes walk to the beach. It is easy to take a bus to Dubrovnik. You can also take a ferry into the old town, which we definitely recommend. The downsides are the hard beds and "garden view" here means a view of the parking lot and gas station.

Great place to stay. Easy short walk to many restaurants and bars. The grocery store was less than a 5 minute walk. Room is clean and service was excellent. Rooftop deck was nice to relax. We used the airport transfer that was offered at the best price possible. I would stay here again.

Highly recommend. Great stay

The space was very clean, beautifully spacious for 2 ppl. The host was lovely anf the outside sitting area overlooking a garden was fantastic. The host was excellent- helpful and available. Highly recommend.

We booked it at the last minute. The host was very accommodating. With suggests of places to eat etc. I needed help with the kitchen appliance. They were there in 5 minutes and had it sorted.

The property is basic and functional which was good enough for us. We were not expecting a 5 star treatment as we only paid for a 3 star accomodation. Bed was comfy and the aircon does the job. Donka was hospitable upon arrival and had us sorted for cutleries and a kettle no whislt Mato took us back to the airport with no qualms but obviously we paid for the fare. The place was close to various restaurants and was in between the old town and the airport. It was also about 5 minutes walk to the beach. Overall, we were pleased with the location and the accommodation.

Location is brilliant, near the bridge, near the mall and bus stop. Walking distance to the beach and easy to go to the old town for evening dinner where we preferred to go. Only down side is could have provided a kettle instead of TV. And a mirror to check self before going out. Maybe if we asked these may have been provided. Altogether dont let these stop you coming because we had a nice stay there. Aircon, hot water, and bed are all good. It is reasonable and recommended. The man who is running it is sweet, he is eager to help and show hospitality.

The room itself was fine; location is convenient to Dubrovnik. Although there is ample parking, it is tricky. because there is a pub/restaurant right by the parking lot and several times there were cars blocking the entrance. We had to go into the pub and ask for cars to be moved so that we could park. We were told we would be on the 2nd floor, but our room was on the 3rd; no elevator! There is a boiler for hot water, so we had to wait between showers for water to get hot and the water pressure was low. For our 10-day stay only a used bottle of hand soap was provided: no shampoo, body wash or toilet paper (only a half roll of toilet paper provided). We were forced to buy shampoo, body wash, and toilet paper for our stay. There was no blanket provided; the bed only had a thin sheet. The towels that were provided were awful! It was plain to see that they had been washed with something red because they were not white, rather "pink". They were like sandpaper, so stiff and not absorbent at all! We were told that the rooms are cleaned every 7 days, but our room was never cleaned. The trash cans were overflowing by the end of our stay, and we were forced to use those awful towels and cheap thin bedding for the entirety of our stay. We would not recommend this place as it stands. If the host were to keep their word about cleaning the room and perhaps provide decent bedding and towels as well as basic toiletries, we might change our mind. Disappointing!

From the great welcome the moment I arrived , I was so happy to find this apartment. The location near a main bus stop is key for me. Im travelling solo and its important to feel there are some pluses when you arrive in a foreign country.My hosts Mato and Antonia were the best. They also doubled as a taxi service much less than the cost of a taxi if you needed this. The location is so great !!Close to a major shopping centre with all the services, a supermarket and aa the cafes needed. Yet you feel like you are in the country and dont see or hear the traffic nearby. I loved my walks just a couple of minutes away to local rustic restaurants and the beach of Kupari , Sebreno and Mlini and more all just a beautiful walk around the bay . To get to the main centre of Dubrovnik , old town and other towns you can also take a short ferry ride instead of the bus . This was fantadtic and convenient. They ran every 30 minutes. I cant say enough about the beautiful people , water and food of this area.

The Apartments & Rooms Barisic was sadly disappointing. The toilet seat was yellow and degraded with age (awful). All the electrical outlets are not flush with the walls (~5mm gap) and seemed hazardous (photos). The air-conditioned was noisy. Amenities: There was less than minimum cutlery, and no tea towel ! The oven did not work and was not connected; no microwave therefore no means of cooking whatsoever. The fridge is old and pitted. We had to ask for electric kettle. My wife had to ask for a hairdryer which was taped up with cellotape (photo). Beware of the bed corners as we both injured ourselves. The balcony the “garden view” is of a car park and INA petrol station. Car access to the property is via the nearby petrol station INA Kupari and the accommodation has its own carpark. It is a good location though nearby to a small shopping mall supermarket and the nearby beach Srebreno just passed a Sheraton hotel. Overall, the property apartment has the potential of being excellent but it is seems to be at 20th century bad standards. The electric shutters were good. Potentially this accommodation could be really good with some essential and necessary updates. It was quiet at night and we slept well. We made a point of not staying at Apartments & Rooms Barisic on our return to Dubrovnik Airport – we stayed nearby and was very happy we our new choice. Dr Craig & Cheryl Baggaley, Lincoln England.

Two weeks in September. Nice stay. Friendly host. Short walk to the beach. Very pleasant seafront with bars and restaurants. Water taxi to Dubrovnik Old Town took 25 minutes.

The property was a good base for my parents. But there are quite a few steps they were on the 3rd floor. The kettle never fully boiled. No hairdryer and the mirror in the bathroom was only for 5ft 6 and over. I don’t think I’d stay here again. Just too basic it was cheap but we had family staying in another room not far it was cheap too but much better facilities.
