Beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. There's a view of the tower from the window. The giant soaking tub was a nice bonus. We stayed here for eleven nights. Half those nights there were large concerts in the Stradun (including on New Years Eve), but with the windows closed we slept through the noise. There are quite a few stairs though...we counted one humdred and sixty from the reception to the room itself. Since we're from Denver, this daily hike was welcomed, but might be a challenge for some folks (or after a few drinks!). The high location meant there weren't many people walking by.

Cute, unique room!

Our room was beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed from toiletries to wine glasses. Everything was very clean and decorated really cute. They communicated very well with us before we got there. Beware that there are lots of stairs to get there, but that is everything in old town Dubrovnik.

Beautiful, modern apartment in the Old City.

Beautiful, modern apartment in the heart of the Old City. (It’s really nice.) Yes there are stairs, but it’s pretty close to the Buza Gate and it is less stairs than most. Having a designated check in location is convenient and their communication was easy through WhatsApp. I made multiple trips to the apartment between exploring the Old City to escape the heat.

Great couples escape by the wall

Very lovely stay, with great bathtub and amenities. The whole room was classy and comfortable. The only thing to really watch out for is the trek up many flights of stone steps to get to the hotel reception and then the room itself, they are not at the same location. Something to watch out for with a roller bag.

La Vita was not so Bella for us. They failed to give us a working key card. After dinner when we climbed to our room (about 200 steps up hill) at 11pm after a very long day we were locked out and their reception (200 steps down the hill) was closed. No night desk. Nothing. Luckily a guy at the neighboring bar (who’s not affiliated with the hotel) helped us. After over an hour of texting with a staffer on holiday vacation and downloading apps we got into in our room after midnight. Tiring, frustrating, inconvenient, and unprofessional to say the least. When we explained to the owner, he didn’t seem to care at all. Zero compassion. He actually offered us an unusable compensation to mess with us I think. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Yes it is cute. And a good price. But the management don’t seem to care about their guests.

Perfect place

If you don't want to walk stairs, Dubrovnik is probably not for you. This apartment (the loft) is not any different in that regard, but totally worth it. It looks better than on the pictures, is very well maintained, super clean and all the accessories you need. We did not experience any strange smell (like some people expressed in reviews) and met with only very friendly reception staff. The rain shower is great, the bed is comfortable and the location is very convenient. If you dink a lot of coffee, you might want to bring some extra Nespresso cups since the supermarket close by does not seem to sell those. We had a great stay and would certainly choose La Vita e Bella again, if returning to Dubrovnik.

Todo de maravilla.

Todo fue muy rapido para check in y check-out,mantuvimos buena comunicacion. Debemos saber todos que Dubrovnik es ciudad antigua por lo que siempre tenemos que subir escaleras , sin embargo fue excelente ya que la ubicacion tenia igual su lado silencioso por las mañanas y noches . La calidad de la cama lo adoramos ya que descansas fantastico.
