Located in old town. Close to all the restaurants and meeting points for activities and taxis. The hotel staff were fantastic and stored our luggage until our room was ready. The room was modern and clean. Had a beautiful soaker tub after lots of stairs around the city. Air conditioning worked great and the room was a great place to escape for a little peace and quiet from the busy town.

Room was clean and very well designed. Check in was in a small office located of the Main Street. However the room was located up 150 stairs to get to the actual apartment. Not ideal when carrying suitcases. Close to restaurants and shops.

The room we had was a top floor apartment. It is beautifully modern with a bath and separate shower. Great, thoughtful ideas have been added to the room and it is in the walls of the old town. I would recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay! Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, great AC! Check in was seamless and communication was super easy. There definitely are many stairs (we are active and in our early 30s) but that’s just Dubrovnik and no fault of the property. We did find walking along the wall from Buza Gate had way way way less stairs. My recommendation is that if you have 2 people in your party, one waits by the Buza Gate with your luggage as the other checks in. We made the mistake of not doing that and my poor husband had to carry our bags all the way down for check-in, just for him to have to then carry them all the way back up!

A luxurious hidden gem in Dubrovnik’s Old Town! This apartment has a genuine wow factor. Every detail, from the stylish lighting and furniture to the excellent amenities, feels thoughtfully chosen. The interior is modern and luxurious rather than traditional, just as the photos show. The apartment was spotless, with a firm, comfortable bed, excellent shower and jacuzzi, air conditioning, TV, Bluetooth soundbar, coffee machine, fridge with complimentary water, safe, umbrellas, slippers, bathrobes, plenty of towels and toiletries. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was seamless. Be aware that both the separate check-in location and the apartment involve steep stairs. Although it’s close to the Old Town gates, a backpack is easier than a suitcase. One minor drawback: there was a faint but persistent sewage smell in the bathroom that sometimes reached the main room. It may be related to the Old Town’s ageing plumbing, but I can’t be sure. Worth considering if you’re sensitive to smells. The location is generally quiet yet within easy walking distance of everything. I loved my stay and would absolutely recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious, modern retreat in historic Dubrovnik. I’d happily return!

Cute, unique room!

Our room was beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed from toiletries to wine glasses. Everything was very clean and decorated really cute. They communicated very well with us before we got there. Beware that there are lots of stairs to get there, but that is everything in old town Dubrovnik.

Beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. There's a view of the tower from the window. The giant soaking tub was a nice bonus. We stayed here for eleven nights. Half those nights there were large concerts in the Stradun (including on New Years Eve), but with the windows closed we slept through the noise. There are quite a few stairs though...we counted one humdred and sixty from the reception to the room itself. Since we're from Denver, this daily hike was welcomed, but might be a challenge for some folks (or after a few drinks!). The high location meant there weren't many people walking by.

Beautiful, modern apartment in the Old City.

Beautiful, modern apartment in the heart of the Old City. (It’s really nice.) Yes there are stairs, but it’s pretty close to the Buza Gate and it is less stairs than most. Having a designated check in location is convenient and their communication was easy through WhatsApp. I made multiple trips to the apartment between exploring the Old City to escape the heat.

Great couples escape by the wall

Very lovely stay, with great bathtub and amenities. The whole room was classy and comfortable. The only thing to really watch out for is the trek up many flights of stone steps to get to the hotel reception and then the room itself, they are not at the same location. Something to watch out for with a roller bag.

Perfect place

If you don't want to walk stairs, Dubrovnik is probably not for you. This apartment (the loft) is not any different in that regard, but totally worth it. It looks better than on the pictures, is very well maintained, super clean and all the accessories you need. We did not experience any strange smell (like some people expressed in reviews) and met with only very friendly reception staff. The rain shower is great, the bed is comfortable and the location is very convenient. If you dink a lot of coffee, you might want to bring some extra Nespresso cups since the supermarket close by does not seem to sell those. We had a great stay and would certainly choose La Vita e Bella again, if returning to Dubrovnik.

La Vita was not so Bella for us. They failed to give us a working key card. After dinner when we climbed to our room (about 200 steps up hill) at 11pm after a very long day we were locked out and their reception (200 steps down the hill) was closed. No night desk. Nothing. Luckily a guy at the neighboring bar (who’s not affiliated with the hotel) helped us. After over an hour of texting with a staffer on holiday vacation and downloading apps we got into in our room after midnight. Tiring, frustrating, inconvenient, and unprofessional to say the least. When we explained to the owner, he didn’t seem to care at all. Zero compassion. He actually offered us an unusable compensation to mess with us I think. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Yes it is cute. And a good price. But the management don’t seem to care about their guests.

Vi hadde booket leiligheten La Vita e Bella VII, som ligger i gamlebyen. Vi fant ganske raskt frem til resepsjonen etter god veiledning gjennom en chat. Resepsjonen er lokalisert en annen plass i gamlebyen enn der leiligheten befinner seg. Innsjekk gikk fint, men, sjokket var stort da vi innså at leiligheten lå mange høydemeter opp i ytterkant av gamlebyen, og vi hadde ingen informasjon om akkurat dette når vi booket. Veien opp og ned til leiligheten var bratt og består av uendelig mange trapper i stein. En av oss har en sykdom som gjør det umulig å håndtere disse forholdene, så det å gå flere ganger til og fra leiligheten hver dag i over én uke var helt umulig. Dagen etter gikk jeg til resepsjonen og spurte om de kunne hjelpe oss med å finne en annen leilighet. Og det gjorde de uten å blunke! Vi fikk bytte til en leilighet helt nede ved hovedgaten, uten trapper. Leiligheten var både større og dyrere enn den vi hadde booket, men vi betalte ikke noe ekstra. I tillegg fraktet de bagasjen til den nye leiligheten uten å ta noe for det. FOR en fantastisk service! ❤️ Dette berget ferien vår, uten tvil. Leilighetene har litt merkelige løsninger med "åpent" bad og toalett, så det er ikke så enkelt å ha ting privat der, noen man gjerne ønsker selv om man er et par. Men, ut over det er det veldig flotte leiligheter. Dubrovnik er en nydelig by med mye å oppleve. Et lite minus er prisnivået, det er veldig dyrt der. Nesten norske priser både på mat, drikke, transport og varer.
