"Monika is a warm, energetic and helpful host at every turn while granting your privacy . The rooms were immaculate and beautifully designed with comfortable mattress, thick towels, lovely sheets, a reading chair with ottoman, good lighting , an antique sturdy writing desk. Thick bathrobes and a great bathroom along with excellent controls for setting AC or heat too. Breakfasts were delicious with juice, fresh fruit, homemade scones and muffins, pastries, and yogurt , granola, one morning,a quiche with excellent tea and coffee offerings ( including cappuccinos , latte). The large property with lovely landscaping , a big back terrace , a pool , huge trees overlooks the pond which at sunset is spectacular. And very conveniently located near Hampton jitney stops and local beaches and sightseeing at at venues and shopping. Calling an Uber was simple and fast though in the high summer season it may take longer than 3 minutes. . I recommend Head of Pond House very highly ( I’ve traveled for 30 years worldwide with stays at b&b’s and high end hotels)."

"We really enjoyed our stay in the house, which is quaint and well-located, close to several lovely beaches, farm stands, restaurants, and more. The property looked a little better in the photos than IRL, I have to say. The listing wasn't inaccurate, but it was very well photographed. We found the space to be a little tighter than expected, and quite cluttered with stuff. This could be easily fixed. Some other things could have been a little better. There were no bikes, although the images showed bikes. We didn't have any shade or umbrella on the patio, and could only use it in the late afternoon or evenings. (Eventually we found a broken patio umbrella by the shed, and used it as best we could). I think the house overall needs some maintenance, and it could be even more enjoyable."

"Great rental property close to Southampton town. Easy access to Route 27. Walking distance to Tate’s (10 minutes) and downtown (15-20 minutes). 10-12 minute drive to Coopers Beach. House was clean, updated, and well supplied. Having two en-suite king rooms is a real plus as well. Fenced in backyard great for traveling with pets. Would not hesitate to stay again."
