"You can certainly tell the property was very, very old....tons of character for sure! A total step back in time, but there were some great modern conveniences; heat pumps, electronic locks for check in and for the rooms, wifi. The host was very accomodating. The room and common areas were clean and inviting."

"The house is well equipped with everything you may need: kitchen, linens, outdoor seating, recreational. The view is lovely, looking right out at the lake. Good breezes pass through the house, helped by the ceiling fans. We enjoyed watching the loons during the day and hearing their calls. Having the canoe and kayaks was really nice. Hosts were responsive, but we really didn’t need to contact them at all during our stay. All the furnishings are comfortable and well kept. The house was very clean when we arrived. I’d absolutely return - and hope to next summer! "
