"I couldn't be more pleased with this rental home. It was exactly as described and pictured. The living area on the first floor was spacious and inviting, with lovely decor that felt very intentional. We actually felt like we were living in the owner's home as opposed to a vacation rental. The kitchen was superbly stocked with all of the cookware and utensils needed to enjoy meals at home. We also appreciated that there was charcoal for the grill. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck with its peek-a-boo view of the pond. It's a very peaceful and private setting surrounded by tall trees.Jill (owner) responded to texts promptly and went out of her way to make sure our stay was comfortable. We greatly appreciated her attention to detail and her friendly conversation.We would love to return next time we come over to the area."

"We spent a wonderful week at Biscay Sunsets cottage on Biscay Pond. Highlight of the week was getting to meet our gracious host Mary. The cottage was exactly as described, and it was the perfect location for day tripping to Boothbay Harbor. We also enjoyed swimming in the pond. Our host Mary went out of her way to ensure we were happy and comfortable in our rental and was available for restaurant or activity information. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing cottage to read and relax this is the place. You will be lulled to sleep at night by the loons on the pond. We will most definitely return. Thanks so much Mary!"

"Feature rich! Close to town. Wooded setting with riverside view. Great birds! Use of beautiful fire pit, kayaks, and bikes. Wonderful host and hostess. Clean and comfortable bedding. We would love to return."

"As soon as you enter the cottage, large windows connect you to spectacular views of Great Salt Bay. The cottage is beautifully decorated and comfortable too! Our host provided us with some goodies and gave us a quick tour of the property which was very helpful. Binoculars are providied to watch a pair of bald eagles a short distance from the cottage. Taking the kayaks to explore the lake was so much fun! The property is a close distance to boat tours to see puffins, Pemaquid Lighthouse, and Mt. Battie. So glad we found this memorable cottage and would love to return!"

"The host allowed for an early check-in, which was incredibly helpful. The location and size of the home to have spaciousness for our extended family gathering were perfect. Most of the beds seemed to be fine, according to my family, but mine was not comfortable (the one hidden in the corner between a bedroom and a bathroom). The showers were a bit awkward. One was very small and the other was part of a claw-foot tub. It was charming, but challenging to get in and out of. Especially for an elderly person. Overall, a great location and lovely size and lots of charm and beautiful piano and lots of books to read and games to play! A great family home."
