"While everything about the house was great they best art of my stay was the owners reaction to a major problem. When I arrived in the late Friday afternoon the heat was out. This was a big problem because of the sub freezing temperature. The house was freezing. The owner was extremely responsive and worked with me for about 3 hours to figure out what the problem was. By the time we figured it out it was too late to get someone there to fix it. I made it through the night with lots of blankets and in the morning someone showed up in the morning to fix it. All this happened on Friday night and Saturday so I’m sure it was difficult to find someone to repair it. After it was fixed I planned to ask for a discount but the owner offered to give me one before I asked. the owner’s response to a major problem, on the weekend, was fantastic and I enjoyed the rest of my stay. Highly recommend. "

"This was a return visit. A great stay as always. The hosts are lovely. The property is well located close to town and recreation. We have, as on past visits been so comfortable here. The beds are super comfortable. Well stocked with all the amenities you need and even some welcome goodies. We'll stay here again when we're in the area."

"This home is newly remodeled. The furniture is nice and comfortable and the home is situated on a rural cul de sac. There are neighbors but they aren't close enough to interrupt your solitude. We saw lots of wild life from the back window which was fun. This home is not in town, so if you want to go into Wiscasset you will want to drive.That all being said, here are some concerns. The communication with this host wasn't great. I booked through VRBO but they required me to use Vcasa platform to communicate, which I'm not familiar with. Whenever I reached out to communicate, it took a long time to hear back. The power went out several times during our stay and even though I don't think this was the fault of the host, they pushed everything off on us as the guest to figure out and solve the problem. The water pressure in this house is terrible. If multiple faucets are running at once then you're toast. "
