With three bedrooms including 2 x double and a twin room with bunk beds, TV and games console.. The property is all ground floor, including shower room with toilet and a 2nd toilet, kitchen with dining area and french doors leading to the garden and a sitting room with a flat screen TV, internet (WiFi) and Alexa speaker. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed garden area. This property is situated within a holiday park area and during the winter months, local and park facilities are limited.

This was a great break in a gorgeous property. Everything was as described, including the facilities and location / proximity to the beach.
I had no concerns about the dogs in the garden with the high and fully secure fence and all rooms were spacious to accommodate us.
This was our third stay in Southerness and most certainly the best property we have stayed in.
We will be back.
Stayed for 3 nights and was very happy with the property. Very clean and spacious with a secure garden for our dog. Enjoyed long walks on the beach. Everything you could need was provided. It was very quiet and peaceful when we were there tho during school holidays might be a bit noisier. No complaints at all and would definitely stay here again.
We had a great time and location was wonderful.
couple of things...
We had no bin liners to empty rubbish into and in other places I have stayed they had been provided.
Cool on an evening could not work heating system.
We fixed kitchen cupboard door and gate. (lose on hinges)
Shower very small
Had a fantastic time, accommodation had everything we needed and more, excellent communication, accommodation was very clean and comfortable, highly recommended
I would say what a lovely property this was couldn't fault it all as described.Had a great wee break with family and dog nice big fence in garden for privacy,spotless and very good communication with david. We were late booking our 2 week break and so chose what seemed to be the most suitable from a limited availability. We were pleased we did, the bungalow provided for all our needs and we discovered a beautiful area which was new to us.
This house was just amazing, check in was smooth and easy and on arrival we were very pleasantly surprised at how spacious this house is. The house is very clean, comfortable modern and had everything we needed. The enclosed outside space was perfect for our 2 year old and dog and great to relax in. The location is great just next to the main amenities building on Southerness and less than a minute walk to the beach. There was also a great costal path which lead straight to Southerness where there was a great pub, chippy, supermarket and kids arcades etc. Would highly recommend this property. Thank you David

Pleasant mid week stay in Parkdean caravan park
The property itself was modern and clean, impeccable bathroom and airy kitchen, good parking and a securely fenced yard. Some very minor disadvantages were the lack of teapot, no instructions booklets on how to work cooker or televisions, and the recharging socket for toothbrush/shaver was placed so high on the wall away from any handy shelf that, to use it, we had to balance the electric toothbrush recharger on the bathroom bin placed one of the tables from sitting room!1 ) However, any potential renters should be aware that this bungalow is situated right in the middle of the Parkdean Southerness caravan park, ( we hadn't realised this and for us, this was of no particular advantage - though might have been useful if we'd had young children with us). It is opposite the visually rather unlovely, large dark brick building that houses the restaurant, bar, takeaway food area,. evening entertainment programme, swimming pool and amusement arcade for use by all the holiday park. The bungalow is also sited very closely to the principal road that leads to the beach. We went midweek when schools had started, so there were not that many people and it was quiet, but I could imagine that it might be very noisy in holiday times, and you could feel quite overlooked..with the many residents at the caravan and camp site going backwards and forwards to the beach and the amenities complex. But we had a very pleasant stay and this bungalow was a good place for exploring Dumfriesshire
The house is exactly as described, sitting right opposite the facilities building it offers easy access to the park entertainment if that is something you want to use. If not you aren’t disturbed by it or hear it unless you open a door and head outside. I would advise you to take the basics with you, the shop onsite is expensive although there is a mini market outside the park opposite The 19th hole pub but not sure on its prices. The chip shop beside it seemed really popular.
A perfect house in a perfect location. I have been to this site in Southerness on quite a few occasions, and this was by far the best accommodation we have stayed in.
The property is fresh, modern and well equipped. The facilities are as described in the advert, and there is everything in it, that you need to have a great holiday. The enclosed garden is particularly good,. In our case it was great being able to open the door allowing our small dog to mooch round the garden. The location is excellent being near all the facilties, with a Nisa shop being a few minutes walk away ( a bit expensive) The restaurant and other facilties are just opposite the property, and although this could be off putting to some because of noise. We didn't find this intrusive at all, as the noise disturbance was minimal. The beach is a only few minutes walk, and is peaceful and clean
The Internet connection was good, however, the smart TV had a tendancy to break up, which was the only negative. Perhaps the owner could address this issue.
The property is also safe. I noted it was fitted with smoke, and Carbon Monoxide alarms. All the appliances are new and in good working order.
Overall I would strongly recommend this property. It represents good value for money, with an owner who communicates well
Less than 5 min walk to the beach but 20 min drive from Dumfries
Lovely bungalow well catered for rooms a generous size garden also very nice and secure. It’s in the parkdean resort which doesn’t cause any issue at all no noise from amusements or club across the road. WiFi good no issues tv in 2 rooms which is great also games for kids to play if required. Would have liked a washing machine and maybe a small outside dryer. Laundrette is only a short walk away next to shop but would’ve been better not to wait in an area like that especially with Covid. Overall great as a base,
