"Staff was pleasant at check in. I was disappointed in the additional early check in fee, however. I’ve never experienced that before. Adequate breakfast but had a terrible stomach ache from eating the very greasy egg dish. I’m sure some liked it. "

"This is a lovely old historic hotel. It is in the most perfect location. Our room was a bit run down, but in ways that didn’t really matter in the whole scheme of things. But overall, it was ideal. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. It truly was an incredible stay. I love this downtown and if I find myself back this way I would stay here again without hesitation."

"Overall it’s an excellent property. There were a few stumbling blocks the first couple of nights (don’t stay on the top floors on the highway side ! It get very loud at 6am!!) some of the night staff dropped the ball on a few things but the general manager Is awesome. She absolutely knows what customer service is. Some of her staff not so much but she absolutely made up for their shortcomings. It’s unfortunate that ALL employee’s can’t be rock starts like the GM!!"
