"The kitchen was set up fine. The house was very clean. The hot tub was well maintained. The sauna description should be more detailed letting people know that the sauna is located in the bathroom of one of the guest rooms. The hand towel stands in the bathrooms should either be attached to the countertop or stationary towel bars should be used. The hand drying towel holder tipped over very easily and could actuall fall to the floor and perhaps land on someones foot or toes. Overall, however, a very nice property. The owners responded very quickly when asked questions. Than you!!"

"This is such an ideal setting for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The location is so convenient to all SW MI/Harbor Country has to offer, has fantastic amenities, and fit nearly all our needs!! Would have liked a blender, but we managed anyway!! And the hosts are there to help!! Can't wait to come back!!"

"We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience! Carrie the host was so easy to communicate with and she checked us via text a few times to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything. The house is about a 10 minute walk to private beach. House very clean and well stocked with basic necessities including towels, linens and paper products. We really love the location being so close to the town of new Buffalo but if we would need anything from the city, it’s only 10 minutes from Michigan city"

"The location of the property was misleading from its pinned location on the map provided when we booked. It is nowhere near the pinned location. Rather than a 7 minute walk to the beach, it was actually 25 minutes in 90 heat. We received the actual address after the cancellation deadline. I grew up in this area, so it was very clear where the house was located according to VRBO’s map. Disappointing is an understatement, as this was intended to be a beach trip. It’s simply not located in a desirable neighborhood, as it’s pitched. We rented two golf carts (for 700), so we could park at an old neighbor’s house near the beach where the house was supposed to be situated. While the house is brand new, it’s not finished. There are no lights in the ground level bedroom. The screened-in porch has no door, so sitting on the outside furniture in the thick of the woods is not an option. The lumber to finish the deck is stacked and there are random loose screws you can easily step on. The upstairs, where 4 bedrooms are located, never cooled down enough to sleep, so they moved to the unfinished basement in order to rest. There’s no walkway or light to the coded basement door, which is the only way to access the house. No bath mats or rugs in bathrooms. The linens are bottom of the line quality, made of polyester, which makes sleeping in a hot house difficult. I contacted the host requesting a 700 refund and he responded that he’d be reaching out to Vrbo. No response since!"
