Cedar Lodge Motel

2.5 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (1001)
"A very safe, quaint, and peaceful motel. The
family
who owns it is very nice and the rooms are super clean. What i really liked about it was they had swings outside and a big beautiful aviary with lots of sweet birds. There is also a coy pond inside the aviary. Great price for a nice clean place to stay."

Travelodge by Wyndham Dunsmuir

2.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (868)
"This Wyndham property is clean, nicely managed and modern with exercise room (no pool) and a surprise; a quaint old fashioned looking diner open 24/7. Located just off Highway 5 you’re just a hop, skip and a jump to nearby Dunsmuir, Mr. Shasta and the town of Weed. But note, there are no other activities or things to do immediately around the lodge. It is a beautiful, wooded area. If you’re headed north on Highway 5 and need a stop over this is a perfect spot."

The beds were comfortable and the pillows and comforters were fluffy. Heater worked very well. Check in was a breeze! Noncontact. But the staff was very accessible via text. The little library was cute- my
kids
loved looking at the national parks books. (I would...
