"This place is very secluded it's far away from a lot of places food wise so be prepared to drive to a place for food for restaurants to eat out. It does have a place to eat there but when we went they're closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The room was perfect, very clean. there is AC for those of you like me that like to be comfortable while sleeping in the summer. The view is beautiful while sitting in one of their chairs or taking a kayak out. Just completely relaxing. There is limited cell service out here but that's okay with me because I needed a break from the city and anybody contacting me. However ,they do offer free internet. The only thing that I wish they offered was one of those TVs that you can select Netflix or Hulu because I'm not really a cable person and I would have rather logged into my services but that's just me. Overall we had a very nice time."

"Riley's Lodge in Freedom, NH is a fantastic experience. You get a full-size house with two floors and a loft for a very reasonable price. The house is very charming, a blend of rustic design and modern conveniences, with little New Hampshire-themed decorations everywhere. It comes equipped with everything you could need for an extended stay, and drawers are stocked with all the kitchen essentials and dishware, to the point that it's impressive how much thought was put into the customer experience. Things like leaving brochures for all the restaurants in the area or a guide to nearby attractions indicate a host who's willing to go above and beyond.We've stayed twice at the Lodge now, and have been thoroughly impressed both times. When contacting the host, she typically responds within minutes, happy to find ways to make your experience the best it can be.The area is beautiful and plenty of accommodations are provided in each of the bedrooms, from fans to cell-phone chargers. There's a good amount of space to store any items you've brought, two wide-screen TVs are available with HDMI and premium streaming services for the tech-inclined, and there's plenty of seating and a backyard with a fire ring and wood for making fires. Information is included on local fire regulations and how to get set up upon your arrival.All in all, this is the best experience I've had with a rental house, and we hope to stay again next year!"

"The property is amazing, 1200 acres! Trails in the front, trails in the back, a private pond, this place is perfect for everyone , one way or another. Swimming, fishing, huntering, nice quite get away. Location is also great 20 minutes to Conway. And SO many things to do close by. The house was cleaned and had just about every thing you need in a kitchen to cook meals, plenty of room for our group."

"Extremely peaceful, staff we interacted with were very helpful and accommodating but only there on limited basis. Only problem was the main house was not available for use, only drinks available was coffee from a Keureg in common area of carriage house that had to be filled by guests. For us it was the exact quiet place we wanted with exception of no food or drink available."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this lake house! The property was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained with an amazing view of the lake and beautiful beach. It was the perfect place to relax. Our boat fit perfectly on the deck with made it very convenient to access our boat during out stay. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We also appreciated that the property was both family and pet friendly. She even left treats for our pet which was so sweet. We will definitely book this lake house again for our annual family vacation. We highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful, clean, relaxing and welcoming place to stay!"

"My family and I had an amazing time! The home is beautiful, pictures do not do it justice! The lake was so clean and warm. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing and just relaxing by the water. The driveway is a bit rough but no issue if you take it slow. Will definitely stay again!"
Classic Wooded Retreat W/ Gorgeous Interior & Great Location Near Skiing & Lake

"Overall an excellent stay. House is extremely spacious, beautifully and simply decorated, perfect location to Goodhue Boat Company where our group was docked for Independence Day Weekend. Starter amenities (paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, laundry and dishwasher detergent) were more than enough for our weekend stay for two adults and two children. “The Spot” is a five minute drive with convenience items and a tasty pizza and sub shop. Garage parking was a bonus to beat the heat. Bathrooms are generously stocked with liquid soaps and hair/body wash. As a family with two small children, we were happy to all be in the same room with a comfortable king bed and a twin bed with rollaway twin underneath. All linens were provided. One suggestion we’d make is for the host to use rug pads to secure the beautiful throw rugs in each room, they slide around on the wood flooring and the kids took a few tumbles on them. The other discrepancy is the VRBO listing states “no dogs” but the welcome email states “dogs allowed” and there were dog bowls in the house. We were disappointed that the jacuzzi tub was out of order, and the master shower temperature choices were “very hot” or “scorching hot.” Seems a mixing valve needs replacing. We used the (much) smaller shower stall instead.Overall we would highly recommend this house and will return!"
