"I didn’t like that you have to buy everything for the kitchen like pots and pans. I think he said you have to buy or rent them out. I love that I was able to walk to Burlington and certain restaurants. A couple of little malls near by too. "
"This was by far tge bedt stsy ive had away from hone. My son and i attended services in Petersburg but stayed here. The immediate look when we entered the room was comforting. There were a few gairs in ge shower, but that was exscusable. The room is set up like a studio apartment and room semi-divider. Stainkess steel ice bucket with glasses not paper cups. Ceramic coffee mugs for hit beverages not paper. This was done so perfect! Front desk was very pleasing and polite. We were greeted coming and going! We will be returning! Cant wait for the pool to reopen!"
"Customer service was awesome! They went above and beyond to make sure we had an awesome stay. We are in the area quite a bit and this is now our go-to hotel."
"The hotel was a pleasant surprise on our road trip. Right off the interstate, clean. Desk staff wasn’t the friendliest but was efficient. The breakfast lady was attentive and kept everything full and fresh. The continental breakfast was quite nice. Room was clean. Pool area was run down and hot tub was out of service but we would book again for sure. All in all a good deal. "
A Cozy And Classic Hatteras 43' Yacht In One Of The Best James River Locations
10/10 Excellent
"Captain Ron is absolutely the most wonderful host. It is an older boat with a retro 70s style! That is where the charm is for me! Any issues with being an older boat are way out-weighed by the charm of the boat, the beautiful natural area and a wonderful and interesting host! Sitting on the front of that boat, looking out across the water, the rest of the world melts away! I would say if you are a larger sized person, you would have difficulty getting up and down the stairs to the different levels and out to the front of the boat to enjoy the front deck. "
