I really did appreciate the water resort, which my little one enjoyed.
It just isn't a fancy nice hotel. If you want something nice and fancy, this isn't it. I booked my reservation through Expedia thinking we have access to the pools and water park. NOPE, you have to pay another amount aside from what you pay to reserve to able to access the pool and resort.
One of the nights, I came back after a long hot day, wanting to shower and there was barely any water coming from the shower, seems like all the water running in all the other rooms made me wait for the water flow to come back stronger.
On my last day, I was doing my morning prayer and saw a cockroach on the backboard of the bed.

The Westgate Palace Hotel was a lovely place to stay, and I believe it is suitable for both couples and families. We had a wonderful experience. Me and my daughter. In my perspective, it is more of a family-oriented hotel than a party hotel.

When we arrived, instead of the 2 bedroom villa that I reserved and paid for, we got a one bedroom with a king bed and a sofa bed. They told me it was overbooked.
Thankfully they moved us the next day.
