I booked a room on Expedia which stated we had the Signature Studio (The Blue Spruce) Suite with fridge. I thought that was pretty cool because the price was $129 which was cheaper then what I've seen on other sites. When we arrived the women took us to our room which was not the room I booked. "Huckle Chuckle is the perfect cottage for a relaxing stay in Eagles Mere with family. The house is large enough to fit many family members with comfortable and beautiful communal areas to get together. We loved sitting on the porch together overlooking the lake and being a quick walk from the beach. "

"This house is roomy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in the area. There were six of us. Location is good for visiting World's End State Park and local hiking. We chose not to purchase a temporary membership in Eagles Mere Association. (For our weekend stay, the Association quoted us a $70 fee in order to use facilities. Since we were attending a family reunion in the area we didn't feel we would have time to use the facilities enough to make it worthwhile.) The house had games,...

"Everyone enjoyed the pool table, pinball and other bar games. Great entertaining areas. Large enough for the family to gather in the same room. Plenty of beds for the group of 8 that stayed. Kitchen nicely equipped. Floors are very uneven. Ceiling leaked in a couple of spots when the snow turned to rain. Definitely, more good than bad. We would consider this option again."

"I stayed here for 2 nights and I absolutely loved it. The home was clean, spacious, and in a safe area. The host was nice enough to give us the home that had 2 rooms instead of one which was a plus. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a little weekend getaway in this area. "
