  • The best hike if you like waterfalls, to be precise there are 22 of them. To see them all you will have to hike for about 7 miles. Dog friendly. I highly recommend you won't regret it! The hike is not very difficult, with accessional hikes up and down, but it is long considering that you will stop to admire and take pictures at most of the waterfalls. Bring lunch, snack and water if you planning to see all 22 waterfalls.

Your site said it was in Benton, PA. Instead it was 10 miles to the north, in a little, no count village called Elk Grove. It is 12 miles and 20 -25 minutes to Rickett's Glen, not 15. There is nothing in Elk Grove but there is a restaurant at the hotel, which was closed during my stay. There is a decent bar/restaurant in Central, two miles to the south, but that was it for many miles around. I was alone there for my two nights. The doors to the place remain open, no way to lock. A female staying alone, or even with a partner, might feel uncomfortable in this setting. Rooms were nice and recently refurbished. The owner, Ellen, is a peach and will make you continental breakfast in the AM.
