Top East End Lighthouse Hotel Reviews
Wyndham Reef Resort - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"For our family of five, we booked a double suite for our 2 teens and 20-year-old, and we had the main suite, and it was great. It was a quiet hotel and the evening/night entertainment was low key but enjoyable. This is a quiet hotel so it would not be the regular all inclusive hotel with massive nightly evening shows. The entertainment was playing bingo, a man playing steel pan, karaoke and a staff member playing music. There are racquets for tennis, Kayaks and paddle boards and snorkels.
The rooms were spotless. There is a supermarket right across the street, as well as a place to rent a car with very reasonable rates.
The staff is amazing and friendly. We enjoyed the food, it was quite tasty. We took the standard all inclusive package (as opposed to upgrading to the premium) and it was enough for our family. I thought it would not suffice but the portions were generous to fill my over 6 foot husband and 2 sons.
The con while we stayed there was a lot of seaweed, but I won't blame nature on the hotel."
Cayman Castle: Luxury Gated Estate w/Elevated Views, Infinity Pool + Large Private Beach
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at Cayman Castle for a family trip celebrating an 80th birthday. Overall this was a great space for our family accommodating many different expectations and asks from a ten year old to an 80 year old. It is secluded and private, but walking distance to a few restaurants. We were a short drive to additional activities, beaches, and grocery. Being such a small island it was easy enough to get to all other areas of the island when we wanted to.The house had everything we needed and was in very good shape. We held a few more items at the management office but actually never needed them because the house already had them on site. The management company was available but not pushy, and quickly got service for an a/c issue at the guest house. The only suggestion would be for the air to be turned on in preparation for guest coming. It’s a large house and took 6-7 hours to cool down when we arrived. Also, for those who have not been, Grand Cayman is mostly a rock island with a large barrier reef surrounding it. While there is a private beach at the house, it is a mostly rocky shore. This was great for kayaking and snorkeling, and the house provided all the equipment. Just bring your own water shoes! This was a great family vacation and highly recommend the Cayman Castle to any large group coming to Grand Cayman."

East End Paradise Villas 4Bd3.5B-Private Beach-On the Water-w/ Sea Level Studio

"We cannot say just how much we loved this home. Great, quiet location on the east end. The home had everything we needed, including kayaks and paddleboard which we used many times a day. "
Cayman Paradise Villa #1 - East End Oceanfront & Pools / Sleeps 10
8/10 Good
"Property was very nice and location was fantastic. Beach access was great for kids to be able to play in sand and pool area was just a short walk across the street. View from house and pool area was incredible. There were great restaurant choices in East End, just minutes from the house and 7 mile beach was just a 45 minute drive away. Was just a little disappointed that our request to property management for additional paper products was dismissed and that we ran out of propane in the middle of cooking dinner. A tank was delivered next day but toilet tissue, paper towels and trash bags were never supplied. We have stayed in multiple rentals on various islands and was just a little disappointed that no one greeted us personally. Service was just missing that little extra touch. Otherwise, had a great time and would definitely re-visit and would recommend the property. "
