I didn’t have a good stay. While the location is beautiful the service was one of the worst I’ve experienced especially for the price. Some staff were very helpful and genuinely cared but the majority looked and acted like they didn’t want to be there. Asking for simple things was received with an attitude or just indifference.
Beyond the bad service the food was extremely disappointing. Being on an island I expected to eat high quality fish and the majority of the time my food was over cooked. I paid $50 for room service catch of the day and the fish was so hard I could barely cut it with a knife. Never in my life have I experienced this low of quality.
After my stay here I spent a day a day at the Marriott next door and it was exponentially better!
This was a vacation to celebrate being cancer free and it was a complete disappointment. I never plan to visit st Thomas again and it’s largely due to my subpar experience at this hotel.
Positive things: gym was great and well maintained, house keeping, swim up bar staff (on certain days)
