The Golden Fleece Hotel, Thirsk, North Yorkshire
Lovely clean room, very comfortable. Nice old coaching inn. Restaurant lets this hotel down poor choice of evening meal and poor quality. Would stay again, convenient for touring the area and comfortable, with parking on site.

Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. The Bothy-Detached cottage,1 mile from Barnard Castle, Pet Friendly, EV Charger
Lovely cottage, very, snug and warm and comfortable, set in a beautiful and peaceful location with plenty of car parking space. Diane was an excellent host leaving us some nice goodies, a great information pack and some very useful local information.
