Nice property

We had a great stay - Everything was as advertised. A minor gripe that does not change my rating, the property could use some new pots and pans. Five starts for the host - we accidentally left an item of great sentimental value at the property, the host found it and locked it up for us and met us at the property at a later date for us to pick it up.

Overall, we had a positive experience for the price we paid. The layout, distance, and space worked perfectly for our group size.That said, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The bedding did not appear to be freshly washed, as some rooms had an unusual odor. We ended up using our own bedding for comfort. Additionally, there was no standard dish sponge available (only a Brillo pad), and the floors would benefit from a more thorough cleaning. Having access to basic cleaning supplies or a designated cleaning closet would have been helpful during our stay.We also experienced inconsistent water temperatures in the showers, which would suddenly shift between very cold and extremely hot. There were visible spider webs throughout the property, which, while somewhat expected in certain environments, did suggest that more routine cleaning may be needed. The moose decor was a fun and unique touch, though it could use a bit of dusting and minor upkeep.Pros•Spacious property, ideal for large groups•Beautiful backyard area with great views•Game room was a highlight and well enjoyed•Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and some spicesSummaryOverall, the home served its purpose well and provided a comfortable space for our group gathering. Exceptional property but not prepped for our stay

We loved the home. However, some items we were expecting were not provided- like toilet paper, hand and dish soap. In addition the main level bathroom shower head had a fitting that leaked and sprayed water all over. I would stay here again but be better prepared.

Our brief arrival at the house was horrible. it took us approximately 30 minutes to unload the cars that had all of our belongings and food in them. When we started to unpack, we found 100's of cockroaches in the cupboards and more in the bedrooms. We immediately packed everything back up.When we complained to the owner, he said he was sorry but lived too far away to do anything about it. For two hours, the parent company (Evolve) tried to "fix" the problem. Finally they agreed to reimburse us for the reservation that was a total disaster. Members of my party were angry and threatened to sue. Our time together was ruined!!!
