THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

This quaint cottage is located about 4 miles from the downtown area of East Tawas and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The home is located in a quiet area with many families and locals. Come with expectations to relax and enjoy this peaceful neighborhood and town. Plenty to do and see if you choose or just get away and relax on the beach.

You are ideally positioned to enjoy everything the Tawas area has to offer! Lake Huron beach access is located just down the road, making it easy to catch unforgettable Michigan sunrises. You are also just three miles north of the vibrant shops, local restaurants, and summer live music on Newman Street in East Tawas, and a short drive to the iconic beaches and trails of Tawas Point State Park.

Other key area attractions include:

* Walk down to the shore and take in the amazing stars, you won’t be disappointed!
* Stroll down the streets in East Tawas (4 miles) or Oscoda (11 miles)
* Cross country ski trails and snowmobile trails are a 20 minute drive to the Huron National Forest.

GUEST ACCESS:

Guests have access to the entire property, except for the detached garage, which is locked off for owner storage.


THE SPACE:

The fully equipped kitchen and open dining area make meal prep a breeze. With three comfortable bedrooms, the home offers a roomy and restful layout designed to sleep your whole group comfortably.

Situated on a level, fenced, 0.5-acre lot, the property is surrounded by a mature tree line that provides exceptional privacy. Sip your morning coffee on the spacious outdoor deck, fire up the grill for an evening barbecue, or gather around a fire pit under the stars. Bringing a boat, jet skis, or off-road toys? The large driveway and detached garage provide plenty of secure parking and storage space for all your gear.


TRANSIT:

It is highly recommended that guests have their own means of transportation. Public transportation is limited in the area.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1) PET POLICY: All pets are strictly prohibited.

2) NO AIR CONDITIONING: Please note that the property does NOT have air conditioning. As such, it may get warm in the house during the summer if it is warm outside.

3) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation after the first 2 guests. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

4) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.

5) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.

6) PARKING: The driveway is spacious and can fit up to 3 cars.

7) DETACHED GARAGE: Garage is locked for owner use only.

8) WOOD FIREPLACE: There is an indoor wood fireplace / stove at the property, but it is NOT available for guest usage.
