"The staff was extremely friendly, the room was simple, but very clean, and the breakfast was good. Extras like coffee, tea, sweet tea, hot chocolate, and yummy cookies in the lobby were great! The only thing I wish they had was someplace to put a bar of soap in the shower. I would definitely stay again."

"Highly recommend this place and hosts. If you are looking for the antidote to MS Teams, staff meetings and monthly progress reports, this is your place. The cabin has a great vibe, and it is wonderfully documented in the guest memory book. The bed is so comfortable and cozy! Enjoyed the hot tub after a 10 mile hike, which I highly recommend!"

"Nice quiet spot to relax. Everything was clean and host was great. I liked the hidden items in random spots found 4. Lol would definitely come back when i need another relax vacation. "

"Room was very clean and nicely equipped. Upon checking in I was "upgraded" at no cost to a room in the main building. This was after I asked about safety of items locked and covered in my vehicle. One biggest complaint is that the doors to the outside were not locked at night. I have heard a lot about past troubles at the location UNDER DIFFERENT OWNERSHIP and think that increased security would help. According to local people I spoke with there are a group of people living at the hotel who are in care of Social Services. While I support offering this initiative, I also think that security should be important to all."

"Quiet and nice for a retreat"

"We really enjoyed the beautiful lake, friendly staff, and relaxed pace. We lucked out and got to watch a rowing competition right outside our room! and took a few hikes to see waterfalls. Also bought a nice hat and pullover at the golf course shop."

""We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Huntress Haven farm! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely connected to the farm life and nature. The highlight was definitely feeding the baby goats, And milking the mommas. There is a beautiful brook running right next to the barn where we stayed. Fresh eggs from the ducks and chickens. The property is stunning and the mountains provided peaceful escape and an awesome hike to the top.. Dave & Miken was a wonderful host made us feel like old friends, available for questions but gave us plenty of privacy. Very patient and taught us a lot about the goat farming life, including showing us how to milk a goat at letting us milk every time it was needed to be done. It was my fiancé's birthday trip and Dave & Miken made it very special for her with birthday extras. We already booked again to come back!"
