"It was a nice place to stay. Lots to see and do. We had a beautiful view of the river. There was a party on our floor. We had to phone the front desk about the noise. It took about a half an hour for the party to move elsewhere. The phone in the room did not work. We used our cell phone to call the front desk. If there was an emergency I would have wanted to contact the front desk a lot faster than it took for me to figure out the phone wasn't working and finding the hotel number. "

The staff were amazing at check in ( especially Angela) valet, and the onsite restaurant,Hamilton. It was a great experience. I even extended my stay. "Wonderful staff and a beautiful property. We stayed in the bunkbed room which was perfect for two adults going to a concert. They even have little privacy curtains that you can pull closed, and outlets for both the top and bottom bunk. We grabbed a cocktail at the bar, Candy Bar which was beautiful but you absolutely need a reservation. Fantastic staff, Detroit has some of the best hospitality and every single person I talked to at the hotel was great. "

"A very well-equipped studio. I appreciated the full sized kitchen and fridge. There were markets close by which meant we could cook at the unit. Conveniently had a small washer and dryer and a supply closet in the lobby to refill washer/dryer tabs and dishwasher pods. The location was great. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, parking garages, etc. The mobile key and check in system was seamless. Wifi signal was good. The only minor issues were low water pressure in the shower intermittently...

"This is a good hotel stay for the price, conveniently located, and with free breakfast. There is a pool that my son enjoyed and where the facility was clean in spite of looking a little dated. We did find a small dead bug in the bathroom and the elevator was not working during the morning we checked out, which was inconvenient for us as we tried to haul our luggage, a baby, and a stroller. Overall, a good stay for the price."
