"Great experience, great room, great host, great location.
I have to say, this is one of the best guest facilities my wife and I have ever stayed at. Will definitely stay here the next trip to Detriot. "

"Great place to stay in downtown Detroit! Staff is excellent, rooms are big and comfortable and the location is unbeatable for walkability and convenience."
"I really liked the entire experience. The room was a good size for a studio. Had drinking glasses, water a large fridge, stove, etc The choices in restaurants right in the building was awesome. Staff was so friendly too. It was just a great time. "
"Located walking distance from downtown and around the corner from the free light rail, The inn at 97 Winder is a true gem! The mansion is gorgeous, filled with a collection of colorful artwork and antiques. The rooms are very spacious—mine had a bay window facing downtown—and the bathrooms are very clean. Everything that I needed was provided for; they even accommodated my late check-in and held a bag for me upon check-out. The breakfast was basic but a nice perk nonetheless. Would stay here again, and especially recommend if you’re attending a show at The Fox Theater or a sporting event."

"This place was in a great location in downtown Detroit; VERY convenient to the airport bus (it picks up right across the street). The building was very quiet but the streets below got noisy with motorcycles later at night. My white noise app took care of that, though. I felt safe here as a solo female traveler, and it was easy to walk around and access public transit from here too."
