Omni Parker House

"Omni Parker House is a historic hotel located downtown Boston, close to major attractions and transportation. We did not have much interaction with the staff besides front desk, and they were friendly. The room we stayed in was clean, beds were comfortable. The room had a coffee machine, a small refrigerator, a TV, no microwave. The view from our room was not the best - our window was facing a parking garage but it is downtown, so I was not expecting to see the park out of the window. The room was very small and tight and not what I saw on the pictures. The hallway on our floor had a strange smell - probably from an old carpet that requieres a deep hot steam cleaning. We did not try their restaurant but I heard good things about it. There were 3 of us staying in a room ( two adults and a child) but they offered only one water bottle per room and one complimentary drink from their coffee shop or bar. They offer valet parking but there are a lot parking garages nearby. Overall, it was a good experience. I will stay there again when in Boston."
