"The location is great as it’s walking distance to many things. There’s a bus to the airport which you can catch across the street which is a plus. The breakfast was decent and the gentleman in charge was very kind and helpful. The rooms could use some upgrading as it was old looking and the bathroom smelled like sewer water. It’s no frills and comfortable but don’t expect amenities like a gym or room service. It’s a small boutique hotel. It was comfortable for our stay. "

"The property was very comfy for two - the nice living room with sofa chairs and a dining table had a double bed off it, but we did not need that as there were only two of us. The separate double bedroom was very comfortable and a good size. The kitchen was stocked with things like coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, and also some milk, fruit and cake snacks, which was nice. When we did want to buy other things, there are four or five mini-markets within walking distance to buy bread, arancini, cheese, beer, etc.Before we got there, I was a bit confused as to how we got in, but Carmelo arranged to meet us and was there promptly. The flat shares an entrance with the Mendolia Beach Hotel, and is on the third floor. The terrace to the apartment was just as large as it looks in the photos, and has some lovely plants on it, including a lemon tree. We spent lots of time out there enjoying the view. A great place to stay."

"Bitterly disappointed with this hotel. On reading the website when booking it advertises sea, relaxation and comfort. However on arrival we were informed the pool, sea swimming and the dive centre were closed all of which open on 1st June as listed under the “services subsection” of the website. At the spa centre again the same story with the sauna, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and steam room all closed. On asking why “just because they are”. Presumably again open on 1st June. The hotel itself is a little tired being a conference / venue hotel that sprawls along the cliff edge. It is not in the centre or near Catania (7kms away) with a poor and sporadic bus service into the actual town. Taxis are available and Ubers can bring you back. The staff are generally very friendly and accommodating. Really there is very little to do outside of the “open / high season” here and we would not recommend this hotel for visiting Catania as the website is misleading in what you actually get. We met other groups and they felt the same with everything being closed. "

"I had a wonderful experience at the hotel! The staff was friendly and attentive, making check-in a breeze. My room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to start the day right. Additionally, the convenient car park facilities made it easy to explore the area. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay."

"Beautiful view of Isola Bella from property. Hotel is very dated, but clean and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Know that you are not near the center of Taormina and must take cable car to get to it."

"Great location with very accommodating and friendly staff. Large variety for buffet breakfast with ability to order from the menu. My friend and I stayed for 4 nights. We used their valet parking and the car was always delivered promptly. I didn’t choose the highest level of room available, but the rooms were fine and had a safe for valuables. Great shower. "

"I don’t think it’s worth the money. People who aren’t guests take up the facilities, lack of service in the “bars”, no light lunch menu or pool service. Room turn down doesn’t take place until after 4pm often conflicting with the time you want to return to your room for the day. Breakfast is very good and staff are friendly but seem overstretched. Doesn’t live up to what it advertises I’m afraid. Would stay somewhere else."
