Captain's Suite - 2 Bedroom Condo in Eastsound across from the park

  • One of the newer and more modern accommodations in the heart of Eastsound, the Captain's Suite has many amenities and does provide minimum and basic accessibility for those having some physical challenges. It is 1,152 square feet and sleeps four people in its two bedrooms, plus an additional two people on a queen size pull out sofa. It has a view of the Eastsound Waterfront Park and East Sound, including Indian Island. It has a bath with a jetted bathtub and shower (in the bathtub). Additionally, there is a drop down chair and stability bar in the bathtub. Both of the bedrooms have a queen size bed. Plus, there is a queen size pull out bed in the living room.

    The Captain's Suite has a private laundry with separate washer and dryer. It also has satellite television with 250 channels, plus 9 HBO channels. The high definition television set, with a Blu-ray DVD player and Roku, is 55” and is in the living room.

    A large number of music channels are available via the satellite receiver. Encrypted WiFi Internet is available in the Captain's Suite.

    This suite has a full kitchen with everything a chef needs, including a stove with gas burners and an electric oven.

    With this array of comfortable amenities, you may not want to leave the condo. We do hope, however, that you will explore beautiful Orcas Island, the Gem of the San Juan Islands. We believe that there isn't a better place to stay while exploring this enchanted island than this beautiful Indian Island Suites vacation rental building in the heart of Eastsound.     Indian Island Suites also has a three bedroom, two bath condo that can sleep 8 people, which is the Admiral's Suite, VRBO no. 596176 (vrbo #596176). The Admiral's Suite welcomed its first visitors on 2014. And, we have a one bedroom, one bath condo that can sleep 4 people, the Lieutenant's Suite, VRBO no. 601242 (vrbo #601242).

Fantastic location in Eastsound! Easy to walk everywhere in town and convenient to drive to other points of interest on the island. Excellent July 4th Week Stay

Exceptional location for jumping off across Orcas Island and being able to walk about town. Suites are comfortable, especially the large kitchen area. Would recommend and would gladly stay again!

Fantastic Location and Wonderful Apartment

The place was just beautiful and we loved that it was just a few blocks from Eastsound restaurants and shops. The unit was beautiful, super clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. We all agreed we would stay here again next time we are on Orcas- it was great!

The Indian Suites was a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful, clean rooms with everything we needed. Great view facing the water. We especially loved the large windows and stained glass lights. It’s on the edge of town so we could walk to the shops. Highly recommend staying here.

Spacious condo in central location, walkable to town

We loved this unit. It's perfect for a small family or two couples. Ground floor unit was very convenient and only about a block from shops and the water (with views from living room). Was spotless and comfortable as well. Host was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Little piece of paradise

Truly a lovely place to stay for a visit to Orcas Island. Right across from Indian Island, with water views from the living room windows. Comfy beds, a fan, even lawn chairs are provided. 4 minute walk to Brown Bear Bakery. Moran State Park was a highlight for jumping off the bridge at Cascade Lake and Mount Constitution, just a 20 minute drive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Fantastic Eastsound getaway

We were so pleasantly surprised at how large this suite was for the 5 of us! The pictures didn't do it justice - the dining table + kitchen space was roomy; and the separate "living room" was great to relax in after activities around the island. The pull-out bed in the living room is separated from another pod of couches, meaning it is not really in the way to have a guest using that. The location was excellent - across from the waterfront park and easily walkable into Eastsound for some wonderful meals and shops. Would highly recommend with groups that require 3 different beds to anyone who wants to be in Eastsound, and you can make do with the kitchen supplies to throw meals together fairly well for the times you aren't grabbing food in town.

great location, frustrating interactions with management

This is a wonderful property as long as you don’t have any issues needing attention. The evening of our arrival, we noticed the drain for the only shower/bath was not draining. The property manager was contacted and agreed to come take a look the next day. We expected it to be the next morning so we could all take showers, but after no word by 1:30pm we sent a message, again at 2:30, and then at last got a response that they’d be over to look at 4:30pm. At that time they said it was still draining slow because it looked like someone pulled out the linkage accidentally. Meanwhile none of us were able to use the shower. Upon leaving, I politely requested a partial refund of an amount deemed fair by them for this inconvenience. After a week of back and forth with the manager, extremely poor responsiveness and some rudeness, my card was refunded 50 for our 900 2-night stay without a shower. In spite of that, the property itself is very nice and the location can’t be beat, just steps from the beautiful downtown area.

Wonderful place in an amazing location just minutes walking from everything there is to enjoy in Eastsound. Clean and well-appointed. Check-in was a breeze. We had a minor plumbing issue and the landlord's rep came and fixed it right away. Everything else when extremely well. Highly recommended!
