Lieutenant's Suite - Romantic Luxury 1 Bedroom Loft, Easy Access to Beach & Town

  • One of the finer, more modern accommodations in the heart of Eastsound, the Lieutenant's Suite has many amenities. It is 787 square feet and sleeps two people in its loft bedroom (queen size bed), plus an additional two people on a queen size pull out sofa in the living room. The loft is accessible via a circular staircase. The condo has a view of the Eastsound Waterfront Park with easy access and walking about Eastsound.

    This condo has a modern well-equipped kitchen with everything a chef needs, including a gas stove and an electric oven. There is also a washer and dryer. The bathroom has a jetted bathtub and shower (in the bathtub). The bath is located on the first floor or bottom level.

    The Lieutenant's Suite also has satellite television with 250 channels, plus 9 HBO channels. The high definition television set, a Blu-ray DVD player and Roku, is 55” and is in the living room.

    A large number of music channels are available via the satellite receiver. Encrypted Wi-Fi Internet and telephone service (3 phones and an answering machine) are provided in the Lieutenant's Suite.

    With this complete array of amenities, you may not want to leave the condo. We do hope, however, you will enjoy the many attractions found when exploring beautiful Orcas Island, the Gem of the San Juan Islands. We believe there isn't a better place to stay while exploring this enchanted island than in this lovely Indian Island Suites vacation rental building in the heart of Eastsound. Our stay was amazing! David answered any questions we had quickly. The home is beautiful with a wonderful view. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked. We made a delicious homemade meal while we stayed there. I would stay again if we visited Orcas Island.

Great location, great space

This was the perfect place for exploring Eastsound - we loved being able to easily walk into town for meals and shopping. The space was also super comfortable - great amenities and comfy furnishings. Would definitely recommend!

Cozy Island Getaway

We had a wonderful stay on Orcas in this cozy spot located walking distance from the main strip of Eastsound. There were four of us making it a little tight quartered but the proximity and amenities were perfect.

Orcas Island Getaway

Great location near the shops and restaurants of Eastsound. There was also a beautiful view of the water. Finally the entire condo was tastefully decorated and filled with supplies, utensils, etc.

Fantastic!!

I stay here every year during the Orcas Island Film Festival. The location is right in town and within walking distance of everything. The bed and bedding are supreme. I sleep so well here. This is my go to spot whenever I visit Orcas Island.

Nice Eastsound Lodging!

This rental is located right when you enter Eastsound, on main street. Across the street is a park that overlooks a lovely, quaint ocean scene. Walking distance to grocery store, coffee, and local events. Jetted tub was wonderful! Nicely stocked kitchen. Would stay again!

Great find in Eastsound.

Excellent location within easy walking distance to everything in Eastsound, Washington. The one bedroom unit was a bit “quirky“ in that the bedroom is a loft up a metal winding staircase, and the bathroom is downstairs. Not too much of a problem, but the stairs are very hard on bare feet. High end appliances. Very comfortable place. Glad we stayed there.

Fun Orcas trip

We had a great time at the lieutenant's suite. The proerty manager was very accomodative of our early check in request. She even showed us how to work the front door for locking purposes. The suite was very well maintained and clean.it was nice and cozy for our family of 4. The proximity to different hiking trails and Moran state park was really great! It was a stones throw from groceries and restaurants. The kids enjoyed discovering the tide pools across the street on the beach during low tide. Overall an awesome place. We will surely consider it for future visits! Thank you for a great time!

Close to all things

The location is a two minute walk to the main part of town and across the street from the bay. With the windows open on the bay side there was a great breeze coming into the apartment. We did find that we needed all the other window coverings closed because right next door are a couple businesses so there was not a lot of privacy. Also, the room was not ready by check in time at 4pm so we sat outside for about 30 minutes while the space was finished up. That did ensure a clean room though! Lastly, the bedroom is upstairs (which we knew) however what we didn’t know is the stairs for the adjacent unit is right above your head. Our neighbors had young children and they were up & down those stairs late & early so not much for the vacation rest we had hoped to find. Overall it was a nice stay for us.

Beautiful place perfect for a couple. The staircase to the bedroom in the loft is a bit steep, so just be mindful if you have any back issues, but the place is gorgeous with a fantastic view, full kitchen, super comfy couch and chair, and a really nice bathroom. It exceeded our expectations.

This was a great place to stay! Walking distance to everything in town, yet it was at the end of the road and not right in the center of everything which was perfect! Beautiful view of the water out the front windows. Highly recommend this property!
