"Super cute & clean location, with a bar and ice cream spot within walking distance. In the heart- downtown- of Beijing. Lots of shops/ restaurants nearby. Staff is superb! Not only did they order DD Aka Ubers for us, but they even walked us to meet our DD drivers, helped us get around on the subway and when we couldn't communicate, would happily get their Chinese to English translator out. They even checked in with us via WhatsAPP to make sure my girls and I made it to our DD after a wild night...

"Let’s start with the obvious. It isn’t a 5-Star hotel. I wanted cheap, and I got it. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They could not have been nicer. The property is old. The facade - and I use that word intentionally - is under construction. When finished the facade will probably look great, but behind it will be the same old hotel. There is smoke in the walls, smoke in the ceiling, and probably smoke in the floor - I didn’t go down to check the floor because it wasn’t clean enough to eat off. The shower is tiny but had good water pressure and hot water. The location is not terrible. Near the Temple of Heaven and the Pearl Market. Close enough to the subway. I didn’t have time to check out the nearby park, but it looked good. If you don’t mind an older property that is cheap, this might be your place. "
