"The room was clean and the staff were great, but they might have washed the carpets in the hall recently, because that smell was awful when we first got there. I should have paid attention to the bed size. It was a full size. But it was the lack in basics that had me scrambling. There was no hair dryer or iron. Travelers need those. There were no dressers to put your clothes in either, but there was a little closet area. It’s the little things that make a stay comfortable."

"Parking situation is not that great. Lot gets full quick and you end up by the dumpster. Also, a lot of people take up two spaces since the property uses one concrete stop shared across every two spaces. So drivers park up against those instead of paying attention to the lines and seeing they are taking up two spaces. Room was fine. Shower/toilet area isn't really updated at all, but still functional. Overall, a good choice for the balloon festival, since we were real close to the grounds."

"Staff was helpful both at check-in and check-out. The property met my expectations regarding what to expect from a Hyatt Place. We stayed at this location on our return home. We'd previously stayed at the Hyatt Place by the Albuquerque airport and it did not meet our expectations of Hyatt Place quality. We sought a new place to stay upon our return because of it."

"My room was both clean and comfortable. A nice sized fridge/freezer, big TV. The staff was always helpful, plenty of parking near my room and a beautiful view of the Sandia mountains to the east. The parking lot is completely fenced-in with electric gates for entry/exit and there is a security officer parked in the lot at night. Great location on the east side of town with a McDonalds next door. Nothing beats a cup of McDonalds coffee in the morning! This was my second stay here within the past two years."
