"The room was clean and the staff were great, but they might have washed the carpets in the hall recently, because that smell was awful when we first got there. I should have paid attention to the bed size. It was a full size. But it was the lack in basics that had me scrambling. There was no hair dryer or iron. Travelers need those. There were no dressers to put your clothes in either, but there was a little closet area. It’s the little things that make a stay comfortable."

"Having the pool is a game changer for me. If they added a hot tub that would be really welcome so we would have it in the winter while the pool is closed, Nov-April? Property has been in the family since the 80’s and recently “retrofitted” to the glory days of Rt66. Great owner and staff. The Speakeasy type cocktail lounge has great DJ music or live performances most nights. Be aware there is no food service in the bar so eat dinner before you come home for the night. Very convenient for me as I own an Antique & Vintage store 2 blocks away but now live an hour away, so I’ll be a regular. There is a convenience store across the side street for snacks, beverages (including alcohol) and early morning coffee. Rooms have a nice mini fridge, keurig coffee maker but no Micro. Best robes ever, perfect At the pool."

"My room was both clean and comfortable. A nice sized fridge/freezer, big TV. The staff was always helpful, plenty of parking near my room and a beautiful view of the Sandia mountains to the east. The parking lot is completely fenced-in with electric gates for entry/exit and there is a security officer parked in the lot at night. Great location on the east side of town with a McDonalds next door. Nothing beats a cup of McDonalds coffee in the morning! This was my second stay here within the past two years."
