"It required a lot of steps to access the front desk and the breakfast area. While the outside ramp was useful for the front desk, it was no help with the breakfast area. (My wife has a bad hip and needs a cane.) The location was excellent and Grassmarket Park was lovely."

"I stayed two nights in the double wee room. It is not that wee after all - surprisingly generous with the space, in fact, with a large double bed (composed of two half-mattresses). The hotel defines the center (one sees the Burns monument in front) and is quite pretty in an old-school, Britannia ..."

"The restaurant on site was very good. Food was delicious. Not happy with room. one of the beds comforters was stained. It was reported to desk on check out. the other bed that was used with cover ended up with bed bug bites. Not very happy with stay we were only there one night."
