"Our trip was great, but the home not so much. We have stayed here before and never had any issues. This year the porch light didn’t work, kept throwing the breaker. Water coming out of the floor on the first level. Under the porch the house was pulled apart because of a sewer leak and was leaking on the concrete under the house. I feel like the house has not been taking care of as far as maintenance good. Overall trip went fine."

"We found a little slice of heaven in this home in Edisto!! The size of the house is amazing with multiple living rooms and a separate dining room as well as seating at the bar, it offers plenty of space for multiple families and kids to stay in the same home. Also, each bedroom having its own bathroom makes a huge difference! The views were spectacular making us feel immersed in the surroundings. The ability to take a golf cart down to the beach was a game changer as it allowed me to get my mother, who can no longer make the trek to the beach on foot, back to one of her happy places. We truly enjoyed the location of the home as it was away from the busier area of Edisto but still offered a variety of restaurants and shops as well as being close to Botany Bay. We hated to leave and can’t wait until our next stay at Chiltren By The Sea."
