"The owners are very attentive, and present the Ryokan as your being a guest in their home. The traditional tatami is clean and comfortable. Lots of art and Japanese mementos all over, make you feel that you are in aJapanese home. Hot baths too!"

"The modern hotel itself is a great facility set in a modern library setting with a variety of interesting books free to peruse. The two outstanding problems with this hotel are (1) access by public transportation is very limited, forcing the guests to hire a taxi to convenient nearby train stations such as Tokorozawa station costing 2,400-2,600 yen each way, and (2) the breakfast purchased optionally is practically the same throughout your stay—three different kinds of sandwiches. "Staff were very courteous and hotel was very clean. The hotel is very quiet, but surrounding area is a bit noisey and I would recommend ear plugs at night. I would definitely stay here again."

"Room was small but cheerful and stylish. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is fantastic — a bit further out but tons of cute shops and cafes and bustling with activity. Loved our stay. "

"This is an excellent area to stay. A short walk from the station, a convenience store nearby and lots of little ‘hole in the wall’ type bars and places to eat. The property itself, although smallish by western standards, is plenty big enough and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!"
