8/10 Very good! (209 reviews)
Very disappointed! Hotel advertised having a restaurant and cafeteria, neither of which were open! Hotel also advertised having wine and champagne available but were told at reception that only food and drink available was from a vending machine. As there were no bars or restaurants nearby in this industrial port area, we ended up with a packet sandwich from the vending machine! For info, it was a Friday night stay in June.

A charming small hotel in the old town of Bilbao, it was close to all the major sights and activities. The rooms are pleasant with high quality linens, and the breakfast is made to order. Highly recommended!

Clean and centrally located hotel, yet quiet for a good night's sleep. Would stay again. The only thing I missed was a tea kettle, but no big deal.

"We had a brief single night stop over at Hotel Dolorea. Booked through Expedia, which seemed to cause some confusion for the staff upon arrival but after some investigation by the staff our booking was found. We booked a shared room for a family of four. Room was air conditioned which was a welcome ..."
