Terrific three night stay at the Torbrau to kick off our two week vacation through Bavaria.
To our surprise our room (#102) was ready upon arrival at 9:30 am after our overnight flight from NYC.
Room had A/C, which we appreciated since it was warm and a bit humid, and was much bigger than expected.
Complimentary mini bar included (Sparkling waters, and juices) as well as a Nespresso machine.
Perfect location. Isartor train station across the street + walking distance to Marienplatz and everything in the Altstadt. We took the S8 train from the airport right to the hotel and it couldn't have been easier.
Good breakfast included. Room was spacious, and quiet, with a very comfortable bed. Our room faced an inner courtyard.
Staff were very friendly from our check in, to the breakfast service, front desk, and bar service.
It was nice to sit out front after a long day walking and have a drink at the bar.
We loved our stay here and it was hard to leave. We'd highly recommend the Torbrau to anyone visiting Munich.

This hotel was ok. They upcharged us 25 euros for our kid, age 8. The coffee machine was always being cleaned so it was not usable. The front desk person was very nice though (evening staffer) and tried her best.
