Quarto limpo com pequena kitchenette equipada com loiças, chaleira, café e chás, sofá, TV e local para pequena refeição ou bebida. Muito comércio e restaurantes na proximidade. Instalações muito bonitas no interior e exterior. Pessoal simpático, sem capacidade de resolução de problemas. Tinha o elevador avariado, e o quarto 208 no segundo andar, virado para a estrada tinha isolamento insuficiente ao ruído. Ar condicionado em ordem mas deficiente sistema de ventilação, não se conseguia dormir com o som que produzia, um apito permanente, foi muito desagradável. As janelas também deixaram entrar água da chuva e vento apesar de fechadas. Uma pena, apresentei reclamação.

Het was fijn om op de kamer een waterkoker koffie thee en een ijskast de gelegenheid om zelf wat te eten of te drinken mee te nemen. Als gast heb je tevens ook servies en bestek ter beschikking. Deze service ben ik nog niet ergens anders tegengekomen. Chappeau!!

Even better than last time

It was our second time staying at De Kastanjefabriek. Last time was with COVID in full swing, now we could really enjoy the tasty breakfast. Dinner locations are plenty in Eibergen, same with walking and bicycling trails. Excellent and quiet location. One small note for others: unless you hang the sign for "cleaning please" on your door, your room won't be touched by the staff. This wasn't mentioned to us when we checked in. On the second day we ended up asking for fresh towels at 6PM at the reception...
