We found this stay just adequate. Reykjavik is an expensive city for travelers and we saved a bit by staying here. The location was fair but farther from a bus stop, shops, or restaurants than we would like. The market on Skipholt street opens at 10. Early arrival was difficult, with no good place to rest. Luggage storage was self-service. The lobby area felt unfinished and without comfortable seating. Rooms were a bit cramped and lacking in basics like bedside tables. Euro electrical outlets and no USB (A store across the street sold adapters for those that forget). Bathrooms were awkwardly designed. Beds were fairly comfortable, though. There is no regular staff on site with messages only. Sometimes we found responses to be unhelpful. Finding breakfast was challenging - plan ahead. This property works best for those that are on a budget, like to self manage, like to be away from busyness and like to walk quite a bit.

The unit was great, a little warm, but probably not often a problem. Kitchen was nice, loved the coffee provided, the bed was super comfortable, and the wifi was great. I only had a problem with the bathroom, if the transition at the door can be removed and a thinner mirror put in that would be great.

This was very comfortable for an unmanned hotel. The lack of keycards was inconvenient.

Large place that you could easily chill in. Well stocked kitchen. The only downside was the bathroom. It is poorly designed- water streams out of the shower making the floor wet. The drains smell due to the sulfur. Worse still, as no windows and the exhaust fan is tiny, the bathroom smells from normal use. shampoo, body wash and conditioner is provided. There is nowhere in the shower to store your things e.g facewash. There is free public parking available nearby but not necessarily at the doorstep as it is a busy area. Walkable to the centre but through some depressing, grey streets. The information provided with the property is extensive. The host is quick to get hold of. All in all, if you have a car, this is a great place to stay and, unlike most hotels, a great place to chill for a few hours. If only they would sort out the bathroom

Nice studio apartment in the heart of Reykjavik. It's located on the busy street, so it could be noisy during evenings and especially during Friday and Saturday. Great location! Kitchen was well equipped with necessities for cooking and eating in. Couple of grocery stores near by and plenty of shops. Our apartment had a huge bay window: perfect for watching busy life of Reykjavik. Parking was a challenge as small studio apartment did not have assigned free parking. We managed, but it was an additional cost and hassle to find parking. We used paid covered parkade during the day and free street parking during the night. Host company was easy to reach when we had couple of questions and they are available 24x7. Nice place.
