"Forewarning that the elevator is old. Wasn’t working when we arrived. Had to haul all luggage up 8 flights of stairs. Was repaired for two days and then broke again. We had to take our luggage down the stairs at check out. Don’t count on the elevator, the stairs are extremely narrow and difficult if you have health issues. Good apartment to rent in the winter. Good location. Updated and well stocked with all supplies you need. When weather is warm, apartment is unbearably hot. Even with curtains closed to afternoon sun. Apartment faces courtyard so you don’t get cool air or breeze. At times we had to sleep on tile floor with cold wet towels over us. 100 percent no joke. We bought a fan for the bedroom, hopefully they leave it there for next renter. You will need it."

"Cosy room but had everything you needed! Beds were comfy. Location was perfect for exploring the town and access to train station. Room was soundproof so couldn’t hear the traffic outside. We got parking at the hotel without a problem, there were plenty of spaces available."

"We booked a 2 twin room and we were given an accessible room with a queen/double and a twin. Room was clean but a little dated. Air conditioner was on a timer that would cut out at night and we were there during a heat wave so it did get quite warm even at night. Walkable to all the sights in the area (castle, towers, etc.). Tram system also stops nearby. Overall good stay."

"Fantastic, artistically designed and spacious room and wonderful amenities including glorious roof terrace with a cute little pool. Lovely sunset views over the city. We weren't convinced the bottom bunk had had it's sheets changed as there were a couple of hairs on it but by and large it was a super hotel in a really beautiful building. It is around 20 mins walk to the centre but a nice safe walk."

"I went to Belgium for the first time with my wife and kids from London. I drove all the way. Hotel staff was kind enough to offer me to park as soon I come. This allowed me.to park and go around city before our check in time. Room.was very spacious and very clean. We all had fantastic sleep. The only downside was, sofa bed made creaking noise when one moves. That should be fixed as that disturbs sleep. It didnt matter too much in the end because we were dead tired, but surely got noticed. Parking is spacious and easy. There is a tram 15 mins away which takes you to city centre. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff was wonderful. Would recommend."
