A mixed stay overall. The hotel is further from the action in town than expected, relying on the bus, which takes longer than you'd think and drops to roughly every 30 minutes in the evening. Taxis aren't a great backup either, as there are no ride-hailing apps available locally and you can't hail one off the street. On the plus side, the communal spaces are easily the strongest part of the experience, especially if you need somewhere good to work. Laundry was a great addition too: free, 24/7, with detergent included. The room was clean, fairly large, and nicely designed with varied lighting, though storage was limited, the bathroom needed more hooks (towels kept falling), and the blackout curtains let light through no matter what I tried. Overall it felt more like a really nice student residence than a hotel - clean and well-designed with great shared spaces, but without the extra layer of service you'd expect at a hotel. Self-service check-in felt a bit pointless when staff were available to check me in directly anyway. Food and drink on site leaned overpriced for what you got.

Hotel nicely located in the hills. Room well-proportioned and comfortable. Restaurant food was good and service was first class. Only stayed one night but would serve as a useful base for those wishing to explore the Basque countryside.

Great location if your are travelling about in a car. Looked like plenty of bus services but I didn’t use this. I was travelling back and forth to Irun so perfect for me. The room has great cooking facilities, bed was comfy, very updated look and shower was nice and powerful. The gym facilities were basic but good for a quick cardio or stretching session Cleaning facilities I looked to use them but my card didn’t work, 5-6€ per wash or dryer.

The hotel was very nice, my family enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the comfortable rooms.

Clean. Good location to beaches and many good food options and restauants.
